Interesting article - makes me wonder the direction of things with Ubuntu.
I switched to Ubuntu from Gentoo cause I didn't like the modularisation
of X and was tired of keeping X from breaking - although setting up and
using Gentoo was easy enough. Ubuntu is *yawn* easy now for me given use
of Gentoo for a few years. Only hope that Ubuntu doesn't go in the path
of Mandrake - or whatever its' called now; stopped using ML at 10.1
cause it became to "Mickey Mouse" like for my tastes.
