Of course, this may be suboptimal on a network with more than one ssh
host. As an alternative you or the network admin could forward a
different, nonstandard port, say 8922, or something arbitrary, to port
22 on your ubuntu box. You would just need to remember to use the
nonstandad port when connecting from outside your corporate network.
