I was referring to the MS slander. BTB is making a habit, in his matey
boy way, of slandering MS whenever he can. I wouldnt mind, but I dont
think he knows any more about linux admin than most here.

Do you want to reread the top paragraph again? My point was his MS
slant. I agree that Linux GUI users would have to do a full
reinstall. But its rare to screw up the system from the GUI if you are a
desktop user with a real job.

It is an opinion based on common sense. I thought you had some.

MOST users use a computer for a days work - using word or excel or some
custom forms handler etc. They never tinker with the underlying OS. And
as a computer professional for years on a host of OS's I rarely saw an end
user screw up as much as a command line Linux learner is likely to do.

"never" would make it clearer. see the inverted commas. I will concede
that to the anally retentive, "never" is incorrect. 99.9999999999% of
   the time. How's that?

   ps, thats "fouls"....

You choose not to read between the lines or extrapolate. That is your
   prerogative.
