   This is, of course, bullshit.   
      
   There are plenty of users of Linux who, too, only use GUI and are as   
   likely to do the "reinstall treadmill" when X shags over. What "MS" has   
   to do with someone having to reinstall Ubuntu is beyond me.

   Most "gui only people" never shag up X or anything like that because   
   they spend most of their time doing real work using a word processor or   
   somesuch. Their systems never need reinstalling. Most screw ups I have   
   made have come from following erroneous advice from people using sudo in   
   the command shell. Its hard to screw up windows or Linux from the GUI.
