   In pico, nano, and several others of that ilk:    
     -w == "wide" (i.e. no-wrap)   
      
   It's understandable that with such crytic parms, -w could be confused    
   for "wrap", "write", "whiteout", etc.   
      
   I just LOVE the two 'competing" spell checkers:   
      
          spelck1             spelchk2

    "a"   accept              add (to dict)   
    "i"   insert (in dict)    ignore   
      
      
   Standards Are Great!  And, there's so damn many to chose from!
