   Whilst perusing Usenet on Sat, 17 Feb 2007 01:56:58 -0800, I read
   these words from Joey :

   >
   >Since I cannot create an extra partition beforehand I
   >want to see if the Ubuntu installation will take care
   >of that and not mess up both OS installations.

Having just installed 6.06 yesterday, the answer is yes,
you do have the opportunity right at the start of the
install to create a Linux partition and swap file.

Leaving the Win (XP in my case) partition just
a little smaller than it was before.

   Both systems seem fine !
