   I usually grab a full list ( --create ) of usenet ng's (and gmane ng's,    
   and where ever else...) about one a month or so.  It's _much_ easier    
   grep'ing through those lists to find ng's of 'interest'    
   `grep debian usenet.lst`   
   than wading through the whole list while in slrn.   
      
   Then I use cut-n-paste to add new ones to whichever .xxxxnewsrc.   
      
   I have several bash scripts for reading ng's by "general    
   classification":  slrn_misc , slrn_linux , slrn_radio , etc.  --  so, I    
   employ a number of .xxxxnewsrc files.
