   this is a workaround indeed, i once used it succesfully for another   
   program (mailwasher).   
   But why are there so many programs made for a whole list of distros, while   
   in case yours is not in the list, one still can adjust an (e.g.) rpm to   
   run in Ubuntu?   
      
   I mean, there should be a slight difference, or not? If not, then the   
   distributor could have made versions for all kinds of linuxes..... :-)
