   The problem is that Mepis including lite is kde based, which isn't as   
   efficient as others.   
      
   The mepis forums look like it would be better to go simply mepis and   
   then xfce or such as fluxbox/icewm than mepis lite.   
      
   I think the mepis developers are considering rethinking mepis lite,   
   since it isn't actually lite in its current iteration, and simply mepis   
   is more lightly configurable.
