   I'm thinking of just making a link from the /media location for my internal   
   hard drives. I think external ones would need some form of startup script.    
      
   Along the lines of   
   Check if drive is available > Make desktop link to its /media location.   
   (has anyone got any clues?)   
      
   Obviously that wouldn't work for hotplugged ones. I'll let you know how I   
   get on.
