   I just discovered a strange thnig with Ubuntu 6.1.   
      
   I re-installed the system with a cable connection to my Adsl router.   
   After install is finished, I rebooted with the wire connected.   
   I shutdown Ubuntu, removed the cable and inserted my wireless PCMCIA card.   
   Reboot and my wireless connection works.   
   But when I go to Administration/Networking, the active card is shown as the    
   ethernet adapter, not the Wireless one.   
      
   Why is is working this way, good question.
