   Don't be naive... some form of encryption is an absolute *must* for   
   wireless internet access.   
      
   OK, so your local paedophile pulls-up outside your house, opens his   
   laptop, and downloads all his child pornography, piggybacking on your   
   connection. Disconnects and drives away. Meanwhile the powers that be,   
   who have been watching the sites he downloads from, track the ip   
   address of the broadband connection being used to download, and guess   
   what? It's yours, as your ISP will confirm.
