   1. add a printer password for root:   
   sudo lppasswd -a root   
      
      
      
      
   2. add the user "cupsys" to the group "shadow" by editing /etc/group    
   with a text editor. To do that, add "cupsys" to the line beginning    
   with "shadow", e.g.: "shadow:x:42:cupsys".
