   The wireless works fine. If my card is installed during boot, it is   
   recognized and works without issue on unencrypted or WEP networks. Only   
   issue here is the lack of a WPA configuration.   
      
   I was never able to get the wireless working on Fedora...

   You are paranoid. For home use, with a little care, there isn't much of   
   a problem. Yes, someone can get into it and use my bandwith. With a   
   secure OS, though, you won't need to worry too much about your data.

   Sure he can. He'll have a harder time getting anything useful from the
