   Yesterday I installed Audacity.(on Kubuntu 6.10)    
   It worked fine after the installation.   
   Today when I start Audacity I get following error message:   
      
   There was an error initializing the audio i/o layer.   
   You will not be able to play or record audio.   
   Error: Host error.   
      
   Audacity starts, but I can't choose input channels anymore(as the error   
   indicates)   
   Even rebooting the pc doesn't help either.
