   Hi all,   
      
   I went to turn on my Ubuntu 6.10 machine and I get   
   the following:   
      
   Kernel Panic - not syncing:  VFS:  Unable to mount   
   root file system on unknown-block(0,0)   
      
   How do I fix this without reloading from scratch?
