   Thanks, that's what I had in mind. Was a long time ago. :-)   
   But as it concerns a sata HDD, the 'IDE cable' would be quite different I   
   suppose.   
   So it probably has to boil down to the select jumpers on the drive.   
   As this is a brand new PC I hate to open it and break eventually a warranty   
   seal, but I wouldn't have much choice I suppose.
