   Yes. The "old" system was to designate one drive as Master and the other   
   drive as Slave on an IDE cable. Most drives these days simply use CS and   
   then it depends on where you, physically, put the drive(s) on the cable -   
   the terminating end being master and the connector in the middle being   
   slave. As always, there's more to it than this but that'll do for the   
   moment :-)
