I wonder if you can help me. I am relatively new to Linux and have
installed Ubuntu 6.06 and Windows and have Grub as a boot manager.

When I set it up I decided to put /home on a separate partition.
However, I now have the problem that I am very short of space on the /home
   partition (I have used 99%).

So, obviously I want to re-size the /home partition to make it bigger.

However, before I attempt it I have some questions which I hope you can help
   me with.

What is the best program to use to re-size (increase the space) of my /home
   partition?

When I do re-size the partition to make it bigger, will I loose the files
   already on the partition?

Finally, if I un-mount the partition can I re-size it from within Ubuntu or
must I do it from a Live CD?

I hope you can help me.

I appreciate any help or information given.

   Thanks!
