I can't access the internet through a new install of Ubuntu.

I have a separate ADSL modem/router connected by ethernet. I know this
is working because I can see you ;)

I can open a terminal in Ubuntu and ping www.bbc.co.uk so I know DNS is
   working.

I have checked the System/Networking setup and eth0 is activated, using
DHCP. My router is 192.168.1.1 and this PC is 192.168.1.2.

   Any ideas?

   Thanks,
   Alan
