   I believe I've followed a procedure to the letter posted elsewhere. I    
   will go back and reread your previous posting to see if there's anything    
   I missed. My wireless network is WPA and I'd like to keep it that way.    
   Two things mystify me. One, the laptop took off and connected last    
   night, only to fail to connect after reboot. And, two, why I show an    
   alternate driver.  I just finished installing a new MB and CPU in my    
   desktop Ubuntu box (no problems there except with my Soundblaster Live    
   card) but that's for another time. If I have the time today, I'll run    
   your procedure for the Broadcom in my wireless. Thanks for your response.
