   I have Ubuntu running on a Dell Inspiron 5100 laptop and two clones    
   without a hitch.   
      
   Problem comes in when I try to install on a third clone. It installs OK    
   and starts but after running for maybe 5 to 20 minutes the computer    
   simply shuts down. Screen goes blank and the computer is off.   
      
   This clone is using the Abit Fatal1ty AN8 motherboard with AMD Athlon 64    
   bit 3500+ processor.   
      
   2 GB RAM   
      
   I have tried installing on a 200 GB Western Digital SATA drive and a 250    
   GB Maxtor IDE drive with the same results.   
      
   Video is Diamond S9250PCI256 DDR   
      
   Memorex DVD Read/Write   
      
   Sony CD Read/Write   
      
   Anyone have a similar problem? Suggestions?   
      
   This is the last computer to go Ubuntu leaving Windows in the dust.....
