I currently maintain five computer (2 of them laptops) and have switched
from Windows 2000 and Windows XP to Ubuntu 6.06 LTS and have experienced
no problems at all. Everyone in the office is very pleased with Ubuntu
   and OpenOffice.org office suite.

D-Link wireless routers worked out of the box first time.....

Ubuntu Linux works. I can not say the same thing about my experiences
   with Windows...

I highly recommend Ubuntu for anyone desiring a stable operating system
with great software and ease of use.

I have assisted several friends migrate away from Windows and to Ubuntu.
Not one person has indicated a desire to move back to Windows.

   Good luck in your transistion.
