   That is an outright lie. You had to provide driver disks for MUCH of the   
   hardware, without it, youd be in the same boat.   
      
   If you spent any time at all searching the web you'd see that HP   
   printers are by far the most linux compatible from the MS world. I have   
   an all in one officejet with a scanner and fax and can access all   
   features under Linux. Id guess your resolution issue is actually your   
   video card not your monitor that is at issue.   
      
   But you are right, based on your recent posts, it seems you are not   
   ready for linux.
