   All very well, but presently I am stuck with a Linux which does not print   
   and reproduces no sound. That's simply not good enough.   
   I don't ever want to use Vista, but all other Windows incarnations I've   
   worked with during the last five years or so recognized all   
   hardware instantaneously.
