Apparently some Linux users can only make a case for using Linux in terms
of anti-Windows or anti-M$ blethering. That's kind of negative and far
   from convincing.

We all know that M$ produced a piece of monstrous bloat- and spyware with
Vista, demanding modern expensive hardware. So be it. Let's make a
positive case for Linux and not define it as a sort of anti-Windows. And
let's not forget that there is a lot of room for improvement at this end
as well. For instance, how can substantial numbers of Windows users ever
be convinced to switch to Linux when they have choose from the
   chaos of hundreds of distributions?
