   Thanks for the tips. I've tried Thunderbird, PAN, Evolution, and XNews   
   under WINE. So now I'll work through the others. MesNews loads OK but   
   won't close and won't download posts... probably my fault, I'm a Linux   
   noob but having fun learning.
