   Everything worked, and the MD5sums checked on another machine.    
   When I inserted the blank CDRom Ubuntu opened some sort of GUI   
   window, which included something like 'make a copy', but was   
   generally incomprehensible to me.  So I just exited it and entered   
   the cdrecord command.  Took about 5 minutes to write the copy.
