    I don't have any personal experience, but my searching shows me kplato   
   of koffice, gnome planner (was imendio), gantt project, and some others.   
      
   The prototype (most popular) is MS's Project. There's an open source   
   version of Project for Win - Open Workbench. There's talk of a linux   
   port of open workbench.
