   In terminal type:   
      
   sudo apt-get install network-manager-gnome   
      
   answer all questions yes, when finished type:   
      
   sudo apt-get install knetworkmanger   
      
   again answer yes to all questions.   
      
   Once finished log out and back in again, you should now notice at the top    
   right a new icon, double click  to into install your wireless network WPA    
   information.   
      
   Try this, theres other ways if that doesn't work.
