What are you using? I tried Cedega (the newest version) and the performance
is not as good as it is on Windows. I can definately tell the difference.
Are you using WINE, WINEX, Cedega? Any hints on how to get started? I am
interested in running it on Linux (as good as I can on Windows).

   FWIW, I have AMD Athlon 64 4000+, 2 GB Corsair XMMS, GeForce6800 Ultra. I
can run it fine in Windows XP SP/2 w/ all graphics turned up. Average FPS
on Windows is 40-60 depending on city/out in the wild. The same setup with
NVIDIA drivers in Ubuntu 6.10 32-bit I get average FPS of 20-40 unless I
turn down the "Terrain Detail" on Linux. I have followed all of the
suggestions in Cedega and noticed the small differences in FPS as I changed
each of the things they recommended and I still can't get it to run as
smooth as I can on XP.
