   Thanks, I eventually sorted things out. But I'll take into advisement    
   your tip on the autostart apps. Once I got xfce up and running again    
   (properly), I do like it. It will take a little getting used to it of    
   course. I have plenty of time to spend on that. I've switched back over    
   to my Winders box for a while to let the fingers and eyeballs rest a    
   bit.
