   X has stopped working after a kernel update.   
      
   As a result I tried to install nvidia-glx - still no joy. I am working   
   in full screen as I type this (thank god for character based gnus!). I   
   cant go back to an older kernel since I foolishly wiped the working   
   driver with the attempt to install nvidia-glx from the command line.   
      
   Can someone please post the url to the latest nvidia driver - a url to   
   the actual file please so I can wget it. or maybe an ftp address?   
      
   What is the name of the nvidia package in synaptic I can install?   
   Nvidia-glx wouldnt load.
