I recently installed ubuntu 6.06 (dapper) and noticed that it correctly
identified my American Power Systems U.P.S., (USB connected) so did some
looking through the Synaptic package manager and saw some packages related
to it. I installed apcupsd, apcupsd-cgi and apcupsd-doc. From reading the
description of apcupsd-cgi, I got the idea that there was supposed to be a
GUI for it, but there is none. I tried reinstalling the packages and
rebooting but still no GUI. Perhaps there's not supposed to be one, but I
thought there should be some way to set the parameters for the U.P.S. I
have not found any commands to control it via the terminal either. The
system still shows extensive information about the unit and its status in
the Configuration Editor, so it seems to be recognized and working. Anyone
   know anything about this?

    Thanks,
