It's a two edged sword. It is a disadvantage to not have a newsgroup
archived.
While googlegroupers can be 'pesky', maybe Ub GGers would be more
'learned' than 'regular' GGers.
The GG interface is just as able to perform properly attributed,
trimmed, and contextualized posts as is any other interface which sets
its default cursor position at the top.
Badly structured news posts are caused more by the poster's motivation
or lack thereof than where the cursor defaults.
