   I agree. This will have to happen for Linux to make substantial   
   inroads. It will also be a prerequisite for major pc suppliers tot   
   pre-install Linux on their home pc's, which is how most consumers get   
   an OS, whether you like it or not. Else Linux will remain something   
   for the fringe, and that would be a pity.
