   Me too! I have a virtual machine of Gentoo that I have been tring to get    
   up to date but it failed miserably.

   I do like Deb based stuff also. Ubuntu was my first Deb based distro.

   Oh, I wont be jumping anytime soon. I think I'd like to try Slackware but    
   the whole package manager not handleing dependencies seems like a step    
   backwards to me. I know, slack users like it that way, as you say,    
   personal preference.
