I was a bit vague... sorry. I use Innotek's VirtualBox to run XP in a
window. I have the printer drivers installed in the virtual machine (as
the Dell 962 does not work with Linux) and I print via that... crafty, a
fudge, but it works. I also use VirtualBox to run programs that I need
to use that do not work with Wine.

I use Wine to play games in Linux, World Of Warcraft works fine, as does
half life. I do this because rebooting into Windows is a P.I.T.A big
time. I haven't got, nor tried FS X, but as it's heavily DirectX
reliant, made by MS and huge, I guessed it won't work with Wine.
