Thanks. I'm running Ubuntu 6.06.1 with gnome on an old HP
Pavillion with Win 98, Breezy (5.1), and 686 and 386 kernels in my
Grub, all of it on a measley 30GB hard drive with several partitions.
Is gnome also known as X? So what is xclipboard doing? Is that just a
normal clipboard? Would Dapper NOT have a clipboard if it weren't for
my having installed xclipboard? I knew about KDE Klipper but I'm
   running gnome.
