   Thats excellent news, but doesn't help noobs if they need a simple    
   solution.  I agree with Mark Shuttleworth that as a stop gap, binary    
   blobs may be a necessary evil for noob friendliness, installed with the    
   distro as a short term solution till open source drivers become available,
