I have 64bit Kubuntu running on my box... everything works really well.
You can install 32bit applications on the 64bit OS if you need to thus
getting the benefits of 64bit where you can and only having to give 'em
   up when you have to.

The only thing that has given me any trouble is the flash plugin for
firefox. I solved this by running 32bit firefox with the 32bit flash
plugin. Everything else is 64bit except Cedega (they don't do a 64bit
build) which I use for playing guild wars :)

....yes guild wars the 32bit windows game on my Kubuntu box :D

The only thing I use windows for these days is some aspects of my work
and a bit of news reading after it (like now) when I can't be bothered
   to reboot :P
