    How to switch to Console mode in GNOME   
      
         
      
   Press 'Ctrl + Alt + F1' (F2 - F6)   
      
       * To switch between consoles in Console mode    
      
   Press 'Alt + F1' (F2 - F6)   
      
       * To switch back to GNOME mode    
      
   Press 'Alt + F7'
