   No, it dosent just work, it allows him to place files anywhere becasue    
   under THAT os he is an admin at all times.

   Bullshit, sorry, it just is. PLENTY of MS win apps DO NOT default to My    
   Documents, in fact unless it is an MS created app, it is more likely to    
   attempt to save in the installed directory, just like Al is seeing, no    
   difference.

   Total BS. It is a permission issue plain and simple. The fact that the    
   save as dialog box opens in a place he has no permission to write to is    
   NOT the fault of the program.
