   Hello Group,

I have an "AMD Turion X2" CPU and have installed Ubuntu for AMD64
   sucessfully.

Now unfortunately I understand, that using a 64bit OS has many
disadvantages, since you need special drivers (which often aren't supplyed)
and a whole bunch of software won't work.

Here is my question: Can I install the normal i386 version of Ubuntu on my
CPU? Which disadvantages would that bring with it?

   Thanx for any hint,

   Greetings
   Tom
