First off Tom, is it installed?

If it is, you can get KDE running by logging on through the "sessions"
option on the login screen and selecting KDE.

If it isn't, you'll need to install it

The easiest way is by typing the following into a terminal (applications >
   accessories > terminal).

"sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop" - (without the quotes)
   Then enter your password.

   It's around a 400mb download though.
