   I did some tests on a box I have access too. If I do not add "noapic" onto   
   my boot options, then the livecd, if it works, is extremely slooooooow.   
   Like 5 minutes to open the "same gnome" game.  If I add "noapic" then it   
   works and is much faster. Still slow, but only a normal 'boot from cd'   
   slow.
