   Thanks. I just went through the whole thing again without success. I'm    
   willing to try again on another day. I use WPA here but I guess I can    
   revert to WEP to see if I can get it to fly. I can see the network, I    
   just cannot connect. A few nights ago I fired up the laptop and it    
   connected and ran fine. After rebooting it was gone and I have never    
   been able to connect again. I appreciate your patience and help. By the    
   way, the laptop in question is an Acer 5003 with an AMD Turion 64 bit    
   processor.
