Hi I was wondering if someone could advise on the following. I have
successfully used both ubuntu and kubuntu with live CD bootup and I now wish
to install one of them to the HD with a dual boot option. I have an 80gig HD
with 20gig spare. I intend to give about 10gig to Linux including a swap
partition of 512m. Now when installing ubuntu I get to the screen that says
how do you want to partition the disk. (I tick the top box resize ide master
   1. ) I then have new partition size and a slider rule. This was initially
set at about 85% automatically. Last time it was 50%. I am just wondering
what I should set this slider to. Is it showing how much of the existing HD
I want to give to linux or how much I want to remain with windows?. Hope
   that makes sense....
   Best regards Adrian
