   Hi all.

I have a problem that just keeps randomly happening and I just don't
   know what to do.
I have a desktop with Ubuntu Dapper installed which has a nVidia Riva
TNT 2 32 MB in it.
I have installed the nVidia drivers for legacy graphics and it works
well. Resolution and refresh rates are the ones I want. The problem is
that it keeps on randomly freezing. And I mean randomly in the way that
it isn't while running this or that application. I may be using Nautilus
and it just freezes. The image is just there, no mouse, no nothing, even
no screensaver. It can stay that way for hours, until I ssh into the
desktop and do a "ps -A | grep Xorg" and "sudo kill whicheverprocessnumber".
Can you guys help me? Do you need more information?
   Thank you all in advance.

   Best regards, Polecat
