Maybe the "From DOS/Windows to Linux HOWTO" is for you. It's a little
bit dated but still valuable if you're used to work with a DOS shell.
   Install package doc-linux-nonfree-text and see
   /usr/share/doc/HOWTO/en-txt/DOS-Win-to-Linux-HOWTO.gz

The "Debian Reference" is of course focused on Debian but many things
are helpful on Ubuntu too. Install package debian-reference-en and see
   /usr/share/doc/Debian/reference/reference.en.html

If you really want to get in install package rutebook and see
   /usr/share/doc/rutebook/html/index.html
